    Leonhard Euler. Engraving by V. Sokolov upon a work of I.G. Brukker, 1737. St. Petersburg branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Archive (SPBSC RASA). The project 'Leonhard Euler - 300' is dated to the 300th anniversary of L. Euler (1707-1783), a great mathematician and physicist, bright figure of the Basel school of science. The Helenika Center shall act as a curator and a general sponsor of the project. It is planned to translate from Latin and publish in Russian the L. Eulers treatise on music (from the stock of SPBSC RASA).
